THE BIGGEST LOSER AWARD
The Biggest Loser tracks the results of all ACE swimmers and compares their meet results to their best times.  Coaches will add together the combined time drops for each swimmer who enters a meet and for each event the swimmer competes in.  Times for each swimmer will be added together and compared to others in their training group, giving us a Biggest Loser for each group for each meet.  At the end of the season we will announce the season’s Biggest Losers, based on the cumulative time lost for the whole season.  Swimmers are encouraged to enter as many events and as many meets as possible!

IRON OTTER AWARD

Swimmers can also earn the Iron Otter Award by swimming EVERY event and distance available in their age group during the course of the short course and/or long course season.  The swimmer only needs to swim the events that have cut-times for the age group.  For example, an 8 & under swimmer does not need to swim the 500 free as it is not an age group event.  By working toward the Iron Otter Award, swimmers will also be dropping time for the Biggest Loser contest and discovering new events for them to be successful in.
