D-1 Qualifier sponsor

The Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Midwestern D-1 Qualifier Meet on February 19-21. All swimmers will receive water bottles and there will be free Gatorade and water stations for the swimmers.

Do Not Use Direct Athletics File for D-1 Qualifier Entries

The event file on Direct Athletics for the Division 1 Qualifier has an error. The times in the "slower than" column are not correct. Please review the times on the meet flyer to make sure your swimmer does not have a faster time than what is listed on the flyer. Any swimmer who has not achieved a cut-time in the an event for their age group is eligible to swim in the Division 1 Qualifier. To enter the meet, send an email to clubdirector@aceotters.com no later than Sunday, February 7 at 11:59pm. Include in the email your swimmer's name, event number and the time to enter for the meet. The entries will be sent to parents for review no later than Tuesday, February 9 by 10:00pm. If you do not receive a review file, email the Club Director.

Division 1 Qualifier Meet age info
A swimmer who has his/her 9th, 11th or 13th birthday which falls between February 19, 2010 and March 19, 2010, and has times which will be too fast for their current age as of February 19, but not fast enough for the new age group as of March 19, will be allowed to compete at the Division I Qualifier (CBSC meet on Feb 19-21) in the 9, 11, or 13 year old age group (i.e. swimmer will ‘age-up’ for the Qualifier). If swimmer ages up for one event, swimmer must age up for all events. Entries for an aging-up swimmer must be clearly marked and explained on the entry sheet or in an email submitted with the entries.

The Division 1 Qualifier Meet is for all swimmers who do not have a Division 1 cut-time in an event. The time standards are listed on the meet flyer. All participating families will need to help with timing.
